Marketers are responsible for assisting salespeople in closing deals.

  Marketing should have aspects that appeal to the sales process when it comes to closing business. This means that there should be some thought put into what type of marketing can actually be used by salespeople during the sales process. It could be a testimonial that goes out prior to the first meeting. Maybe it is a video that discusses implementation and an interview is done with your operations people. There are so many ways to build content that will help build trust and credibility.
